Sponsored by MoMA’s Contemporary Drawing and Print Associates, the Patricia Orden Memorial Symposium is a public forum for scholarly conversations about currents in the fields of drawings and prints. This year’s symposium, titled Community Printmaking, will focus on community printmaking workshops of the present and recent past to explore a spectrum of topics, including the context and aims of community printmaking, the relationships between individual artists’ practices and collective work with broader communities, and the relationship between printmaking and pressing social and political conversations.
