Established in honor of Robert Blackburn, the Blackburn Legacy Fellowship extends the spirit of collaboration, experimentation, and community that defined Blackburn’s life and work. The one-year fellowship supports an artist who worked with and knew Blackburn, recognizing the enduring significance of their artistic relationship and their place within the history of the Workshop. By bringing artists connected to Blackburn’s legacy into renewed dialogue with new members, the fellowship creates space for knowledge to be shared and new relationships to develop across generations.
