Instructor: NATHANIEL FLAGG
THURSDAYS
4/1, 4/8, 4/15 and 4/22
5:00 - 6:30 PM EDT
In this class, students will expand upon the techniques introduced in moving image I, and will use digital processes and diy recording software to make scored animations and pair their animated image with sound. Participants will revisit how to compose storyboards, register and photograph their frames. Students will also learn how to pace their animations to match selected recordings and audio and use commonly available video and sound editing software. Students will be using their own smartphones or digital cameras to produce their animations. The class will culminate in a collaborative animation to be produced over the class period.
