This course will introduce students to photopolymer plates using the workshop’s Vandercook No. 4 Proof Press. We will cover use and care for the press, making hand-drawn films to expose and process into the printing plate, proofing, mixing inks, and making a small edition of prints.

This class will include 9 hours of studio time to apply what we have learned to your own particular projects.
