Students will learn how to combine drypoint and monotype techniques, focusing mainly on how line, form, and color can be manipulated to make visually dynamic works. During this two day workshop, the class will have thorough demonstrations of materials and examples of drypoint monotypes. Class time will also consist of individual work time and class critiques to learn from each other, ask questions, and reflect on tips, tricks, and obstacles. The cohort will leave with an understanding of the possibilities which drypoint monoprint holds.
