This is an introductory class to relief printmaking using unmounted linoleum blocks. Students will go over how to transfer an image onto linoleum, how to use carving tools, and how use the printing press. At the end of class, we will discuss what a printed edition entails, having each student print a small edition. This is a perfect class for beginners in printmaking.
