WORKSHOP AMBASSADOR

An EFA RBPMW Workshop Ambassador is a representative of the workshop who actively pursues improvements in the workshops functionality, outreach, ideals, and experience of our members and volunteers. 

 

    Ann deVere is a Manhattan-based artist born in the Bronx. She is primarily a printmaker who loves to draw. DeVere finds endless possibilities for drawing in the diversity of techniques and surfaces in printmaking. DeVere’s group exhibitions include  ROLL CALL , Blackburn 20/20, New York, NY (2017);  Collectively Assembled: 28 visits/1show , A@R, Brooklyn, NY (2013 ); SWEET + SOUR , Ozaneaux Art Space, New York, NY (2011); and  MAPPING SKATE PARKS , Casita Maria Gallery, Bronx, New York, NY (2011). Ann is a recipient of SU-CASA Artist in Residence, Lower Manhattan Cultural Council, New York, NY (2016); SPARC Artist in Residence, Lower Manhattan Cultural Council, New York, NY(2014); Site Specific Winter Residency, A@R, Brooklyn, NY(2013); Printmaking Residency Fellowships, MacDowell Colony, Peterborough, NH (1993, 1994, 1998); and Ralph Fabri Scholarship for Printmaking, National Academy of Design/School of Fine Arts, New York, NY (1990&1991). She received her Bachelor of Architecture from Pratt Institute.
