In this class, students will learn about historical methods of animation, and how to use the tools readily available in their homes to investigate and expand upon these methods. Participants will learn how to compose storyboards, register and photograph their frames, draw animation frames and develop movable, scenography and characters. Students will be using their own smartphones and commonly available animation software to produce their animations The class will culminate in a collaborative animation to be produced over the class period.
