Learn how to make drypoint prints at home, without a press. Add additional layers of color and texture using monoprint transfer techniques.

Materials

-Plate, your choice: plastic lid*, plastic sheet (overhead projector sheet, duralar, etc), plexiglass, copper.

*Recyclable plastic lids are fun for picking up found textures. Scratch a test spot on your plastic lid or sheet to see that it scratches easily- not too slippery. Also make sure it doesn’t peel when you scratch it- some of the common NYC takeout containers peel. Most food product containers work great for drypoint.
