Collagraph is a basic method of printmaking using collage materials you can find at home such as plastic bags, fabric, strings and print from a variety of textures. In this demo/class, we will construct collagraph plates and print by hand.

Collagraph materials (plastic bag, dried leaves, strings, tin foil and etc)

Acrylic medium

Hairdryer (optional)

Glue gun (optional)

Printmaking paper, handmade paper or any thin paper

Mat board/card board

X-acto knife/scissors

Brushes (for medium/glue and for inking)

Ink: oil based, water wash

Ink knife

Brayer (optional)

Plexiglass (for inking)

Newsprint or wax paper

Paper towel/rags

Vegetable oil

Baren, large spoon or bone holder
