Do you struggle to prepare images for traditional or digital color printing? This workshop will cover the basics of color separation in photoshop as well as hand-drawn film separations.

These techniques have many applications, including photo lithography, polyester [smart plate] lithography, gum-arabic transfer, screen printing, photo-etching, as well as any photo/film based printing. Use these skills to create complex multi-colored prints from your drawings, photographs, or other print processes!

The class requires a basic understanding of photoshop.

There will be no films produced during the class*

* Digital films can be printed through an independent vendor outside of EFA RBPMW workshop. EFA RBPMW cannot produce digital films through this class. Students can purchase materials to work on hand drawn films from the workshop.
