A demonstration will cover applying the wax and use of various encaustic techniques; incising, textile embossing, and the use of heated tools and marry those with printmaking techniques like dry point etching, intaglio, wiping and using monotype for double drop printing. An overview of Akua Intaglio Inks and mediums as well as wiping techniques will also be covered.
